We also recommend placing an extra copy of the label inside your shipment in case the outer label becomes damaged during transit. For apartments, hotels, or residential complexes, deliveries are typically directed to the reception area, so it’s important that bells and buzzers are working properly. Couriers are not provided with work phones, so they will not be able to contact you directly. Please keep in mind that while we deliver to all areas within Taiwan, additional time may be required for remote locations.
All international shipments to Taiwan must pass through customs inspection. A full customs declaration form is required for each shipment with a detailed description of contents. You’ll also need to provide a passport copy, and customs may request further documentation. There are also important customs rules to be aware of when shipping personal belongings to Taiwan. Personal effects cannot be cleared before the owner’s arrival and must arrive within six months of their arrival in Taiwan. Shipments with a declared value under $60 are usually exempt from duty. For shipments above this value, Taiwanese citizens must supply additional documentation. Non-Taiwanese citizens may also need to provide paperwork proving employment or study if relocating to Taiwan. Remember, shipments must be sent within six months of the consignee’s arrival to comply with Taiwan’s customs regulations.
