If you’re travelling with Wizz Air on an upcoming flight, here’s everything you need to know about your baggage allowance and fees.
Your baggage allowance may differ depending on your route, ticket type, and the time of the year you're flying.
The carry-on baggage allowance with Wizz Air depends on the fare booked.
Non-Priority customers (standard fare) are only permitted to take one carry-on bag onboard, however it must fit under the seat in front of you. The item must not exceed 40 x 30 x 20cm.
WIZZ Priority customers are permitted to take one carry-on bag and one cabin bag onboard. The small carry-on item must not exceed 40 x 30 x 20cm, and the cabin bag must not exceed 55 x 40 x 23cm, weighing no more than 10KG.
Along with an increased allowance for carry-on baggage, Priority passengers can access Priority Check-in and Priority Boarding. WIZZ Priority can be purchased at the time of booking, or online after booking, with prices ranging from €10 to €58.80. Alternatively, it can be purchased at the airport for €55.
Checked Baggage is not automatically included with Wizz Air, and must be purchased.
One piece of checked baggage must not exceed 149 x 119 x 171cm.
You can purchase checked baggage weighing 10KG, 20KG, 26KG or 32KG. Passengers can purchase up to 6 pieces of checked baggage. Please refer to Wizz Air’s checked baggage policy for information about the different weight combinations, also some items may need to be added via Wizz Air’s Call Centre, or at the airport.
Passengers who exceed their checked baggage allowance will be charged an excess weight fee of €13 per KG, per flight. Some airports served by Wizz Air will only accept a Credit or Debit card for payment of this fee.
Be aware that if you buy any of the services listed below at the airport, you might need to pay an extra fee to Wizz Air's handling agent, in addition to the fees outlined.
