If you’re travelling with Virgin Atlantic on an upcoming flight, here’s everything you need to know about your baggage allowance and fees. Your baggage allowance with Virgin Atlantic is determined by your cabin class.
All passengers have carry-on baggage included with their ticket. The carry-on bag must not exceed 56 x 36 x 23cm. However, the weight and number of items you can take will vary depending on your ticket type and class of travel.
If you’re in Economy Class (Light, Classic & Delight), or in Premium Economy, you can take one piece of hand baggage weighing up to 10KG.
If you’re in Upper Class, you can take two pieces of hand baggage with a combined weight up to 16KG. This would need to split over two bags as one item cannot exceed 12KG. For example you could take one bag weighing 12 KG, and another smaller item weighing 4KG.
